Creative Space arrive in Sheffield

The Digital and Creative Industries sector is moving to a new level in Sheffield with the appointment of Creative Space Management (CSM) to undertake the management of the first building within the Sheffield Digital Campus. This new regional hub for the digital, e-learning and creative businesses will play a key role in attracting high growth businesses into Sheffield over the next ten years.

Cllr Jan Wilson, Leader of Sheffield City Council said, "I'm delighted Creative Space Management is on board.  They will set the standard for the whole campus and will add a new dimension to the city's business community. The Centre will be the cornerstone of the Sheffield Digital Campus, providing dedicated services, cutting edge technology and flexible facilities for high growth companies in the creative and digital sector."

Sheffield City Council and Yorkshire Forward's vision for the Digital Business Centre is to see it developed to provide innovative space for growing digital companies in the region and to compete internationally by providing exceptional accommodation for digital and creative industries.

Creative Space Management has extensive experience of managing buildings and facilities for the creative, digital and media industries as well as supporting the design and use of the space to provide accommodation that works for the occupier.  Having worked extensively on developing both Huddersfield and Round Foundry Media Centre in Leeds, the Creative Lofts live-work space and a range of multi-million pound centres for the digital and creative industries, they are one of the most experienced specialist facilities management companies for the creative industries in the UK.
