At Electric Works, we strive to support our local community as much as possible, from our coffee to our window cleaning. So in light of ‘Shop Local Week’, here’s some of the local Sheffield gems we work with that we strongly recommend to everyone.
1. Frazer’s Coffee
Frazer’s has been supplying excellent coffee to the people of Sheffield since 2014. Frazer’s works closely with the farmers that source the beans, ensuring they are paid well for all their hard work. Their beans are also roasted by them on a 12kg roaster, built from scratch by their team, using Sheffield steel. You can’t get anymore local than that!
2.Our Cow Molly
Our milk is delivered freshly from Our Cow Molly. Not only are they environmentally conscious by using reusable glass bottles, but their milk is also now available in a variety of big supermarkets, making it so easy to shop locally. They also make delicious ice cream, which is available in many cafes, and restaurant across the city.
3. Airmaster
Based just around our corner up in Park Hill, Airmaster have been supplying and maintaining our air conditioning and ventilation systems for several years. They also strive to provide energy efficient to their clients in our city’s collective goal to make Sheffield greener.
4. Sparrk Electrical
Not only are Sparrk Electrical a client of ours, but they also provide us with their excellent services. They have been offering high quality professional electrical services in Sheffield and the surrounding areas for over 10 years for both domestic and commercial properties. With their affordable prices and a friendly, helpful team, Sparrk Electrical provide you with peace of mind that you are getting top notch service.
5. Feast
Feast provide an excellent range of fresh sandwiches daily for our internal clients for affordable prices. It’s not just yummy sarnies they do, they also provide our events and conferences with beautiful prepared buffets, suitable for all diets.* They have recently just reopened after the lockdown period, and are ready to feed Sheffield once again!
*Due to the Covid-19 restrictions in place, we are not currently serving food on site however all being well, this will be changing soon.
6. MSC Window Cleaners
Founded by Michael Stone in 1971 at the age of 27, MSC are one of the leading cleaning companies in Yorkshire. They undertake all aspects of window cleaning, including scaling up large buildings, and abseiling. MSC really do care about the local community and are always looking at ways to give back, such as working closely with The Cathedral Archer Project in the fight against homelessness in Sheffield.
7. Valley Cleaning
As one of the many perks at Electric Works, Valley Cleaning offer discounted dry cleaning to our clients and delegates. They have been providing expert, low-cost dry cleaning and laundry services to the people of Sheffield for over 20 years, and can tackle the toughest of stains, even restoring fire and flood damage.
8. Harrods Caterers
Since it was founded in 1987, Harrods Caterers has established itself as one of Sheffield’s finest caterers, providing premium buffets for conferences, events, and special occasions. They are working harder than ever to be sustainable and environmental conscious by using seasonal produce, using local suppliers, and reducing their carbon footprint.
9. Rodney Cook – Painter & Decorator

10. Anway Washrooms
With over 14 years of experience, Anway Washrooms supply high quality washroom and cleaning products. They have been so helpful during the Covid-19 outbreak by keeping us well stocked throughout, and providing excellent customer service.
11. Wet ‘n’ Warm
Wet’n’ Warm’s plumbing and heating services are available 24/7 with their team highly qualified, quality assured engineers, providing fast and accurate quotations with no hidden fees. Their friendly and professional approach assures you that you are receiving the best service possible!
12. Clarion FM
From everyday tasks to refurbishing commercial offices, Clarion FM are prepared for anything, providing fast and efficient handyman services and advice. We have had the pleasure of working with our handyman, Jo from Clarion FM, for several years and really appreciate all he does for us, there really is no task he can’t handle!
13. Ask4 Solutions (Formerly Birchenall Howden)
Based in Sheffield City Centre, Ask4 Solutions offer outstanding IT services, ensuring safe and secure use of computers and providing excellent support and consultancy for their clients. They were previously known as Birchenall Howden, however have now expanded their horizons under the new name of Ask4 Solutions.
14. Intelligent Facility Solutions (Intelligent Hand Dryers)
IFS are also a client at Electric Works specialising in sustainable hand dryers and various other cleaning products and appliances. They are extremely passionate about the environment, even launching their own ethical product range called ‘Bamboo Bobbi’ which aims to allow households and small businesses to choose sustainability by making their products affordable and high quality.
15. SCM Services
We have been working closely (Not physically of course!) with Phil from SCM Services over lockdown on various renovations and installations, making sure our clients and potential clients’ needs are met. We can’t thank him enough for the fantastic service he has provided, with such an impressive turnover! As well as renovation and kitchen installation, they provide cleaning, repairs, plumbing and more.
